WTSWW Swansea Christmas Members & Friends Evening
Killay,
, Swansea, SA2 7DZ
Event details
About the event
This is our annual Christmas celebration where members and friends of the group have a chance to meet and chat over wine and festive treats.
We have the highest membership of any of the Wales Wildlife Trust groups and our outdoor events are always over-subscribed so we are hope to see many of you there.
We are fortunate to welcome marine biologist Emma Lowe to talk about the marine wildlife in our beautiful area and our old friend Peter Hatherley from Bridgend WTSWW group will give a talk on ‘The Yew Trees of Churchyards in the Usk Valley.'
There will also be a light-hearted wildlife-themed picture quiz but the main aim is to enjoy a catch-up with our like-minded nature enthusiast friends and supporters. Doors open at St Hilary's Church Community Hall, Killay at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
We welcome all Wildlife Trust members, partners or friends in the Swansea area and friends from other wildlife organisations.
The hall is fully accessible with a suitable toilet and accessible parking very close by. Free car parking is available on site. If the car park is full, more parking is available in nearby well-lit streets.
We ask for donations of at least £1 per adult please to help cover expenses.
