Complete our enquiry form to get started

The nature of requests vary widely and it helps us to process any filming requests by completing our Media Enquiry Form. Please complete the form with your contact information and details of proposed filming for us to review and we'll be in touch.

If you have questions, please get in touch with Grace Hunt, Communications Manager (g.hunt@welshwildlife.org).

Location Fees

We have over 100 nature reserves across South and West Wales, featuring a variety of habitats and species. Location fees vary according to length of filming, reserve and the nature of the enterprise. Please see pricing guide below for terrestrial and island reserves.

Fees are exclusive of VAT, which is added onto the total. Additional fees for staff time, third party works assessments, towpath closures, etc, may apply on top of location filming fees. All income generated from filming activity goes to support our conservation work.

We can look to offer a reduced filming fee if an on air-credit is supplied e.g. "We're at The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales’ Skomer Island Reserve today, filming X" or equivalent on-screen written credit.

Please note for filming on Skomer or Skokholm, boats to the islands are operated by a different organisation to The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, and so there may be an additional fee to cover the journey to and from the island.

Island Reserves: Skomer and Skokholm

Please note we have a media ban in place from 23rd May to June 30th 2026 on Skomer Island. Due to the fragile nature of these islands, a member of staff is required to accompany all media visits - but this comes with the benefit of access to some areas not accessible to the public as well as knowledge of wildlife and the best locations to film them.
