Thank you to artist Maggie Brown
Pembrokeshire Landscape Artist Maggie Brown combines her love of art and nature. Maggie paints the natural world and has a lifelong interest in nature conservation. In her paintings she is on a constant mission to try and capture nature in its rawness. By capturing it's beauty, she highlighs the need for its conservation, which has always been important.
As a member of the now established, ‘North Pembrokeshire Open Studios’ NPOS, Maggie Brown opened her home as part of the 2025 art trail. Held annually, he trail lasts 2 weeks at the end of August. A silent auction was recently held of the ‘painting in progress’, from her last demonstration at the trail. A £400 donation was given to the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales as her charity of choice. The painting Llangloffan Fen, presented to Diane Gray, who kindly donated the fund, is inspired from our Llangloffan Fen Nature Reserve. Maggie highly recommends a visit to see the artists on this amazing trail, as well as visiting Llangloffan Fen, a special place. The Wildlife Trust is very grateful for Maggie’s generous support.
